We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Truck Mechanic

Location: Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Mechanicto maintain and repair our fleet of haulage trucks.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with diesel engines, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles used for logistics and long-distance transportation.
• The role ensures that all company trucks operate efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance on trucks.
• Diagnose and repair faults in engines, gearboxes, brakes, electrical systems, and suspensions.
• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, brake lining adjustments, and tire changes.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues related to diesel engines, cooling systems, and fuel systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records for each vehicle in the fleet.
• Ensure all repairs comply with company safety standards and transport regulations.
• Inspect newly repaired vehicles to confirm proper functioning before release.

Requirements

• Education:Technical Certificate, OND, or equivalent in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 yearsexperience repairing and maintaining diesel trucks in a logistics or haulage environment.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems (engine, transmission, braking, hydraulics).
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Good teamwork and communication abilities.
• License: Valid driver’s license (Commercial driver’s license is an added advantage).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and handle heavy parts and equipment.
• Comfortable working under vehicles and in outdoor conditions when required.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
