Job Title: Head of ICT

Location: Rivers

Job Summary

• The Head of ICT will lead the organization’s technology strategy, ensuring efficient operation, security, and continuous improvement of all ICT systems.
• This role will oversee ERP implementation and optimization, data integrity across inventory systems, infrastructure reliability, and technology support across all retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the ICT department.
• Oversee ERP implementation, enhancement, user support, and alignment with business processes.
• Ensure data integrity, especially across inventory and retail systems.
• Develop, implement, and enforce ICT policies, cybersecurity controls, and best practices.
• Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure including hardware, software, servers, and networks.
• Lead technology-related projects such as upgrades, integrations, and new system deployments.
• Monitor system and network performance, ensuring uptime and quick resolution of technical issues.
• Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and ICT procurement.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity tools (e.g., Sophos Central) and ensure system security.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Prepare periodic reports on ICT performance and improvement initiatives.
• Manage ICT budgets and resource planning.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight for ICT team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years progressive ICT experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, or manufacturing environments is required.
• Proven experience implementing or managing ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data/asset management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
