The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria was established as an umbrella Association for Practitioners of Personnel Management in 1968 as the Personnel Management Association of Nigeria. In 1973, it was renamed as Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. Finally, Act No 58 of 1992 chartered the Institute.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Team Lead, Branch Development and Zonal Affairs

Location: Lagos (Both Office & Field Based)
Grade Level: Senior Management
Reports to: Director MMD
Supervises; Branches and Zonal Affairs
Travel: 0% - 30%
Work Cycle/Days; Mondays - Fridays

Purpose of the Job

  • The Team Lead Branch Development and Zonal Affairs job role exists to grow and champion membership mobilization and development across CIPM State Branches and Chapters.
  • The role is to manage zonal affairn across board by ensuring optimal functionality with HQ operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Internally Relates with;
    • All staff
    • Zonal Officers.
  • Externally Relates with;
    • All members
    • Corporate clients.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Branch Development:

  • Collaborate with the CIPM State Branches and Chapters to grow membership across national level.
  • Collaborate with state branches to mobilize members for participation at CIPM events.
  • Ensure a successful planning and organization of Special Human Resource Forum by Institutional Development Committee.
  • Provide support to the Zones in organizing Human Resource Fora with State Branches in various Zones assisted by their Zonal Officers.
  • Assist in coordinating all State Branches and Chapters activities in the zones in compliance with the state by-laws.
  • Ensure annual work plan of all State branches and Chapters are drawn 
    at the beginning of every year as well as its implementation.

Zonal Affairs and Other Activities:

  • Ensure the zonal offices are fully in operation as well as HQ.
  • Drive revenue generation, cost optimization, membership drive, MCPE etc.
  • Drive optimal customer satisfaction across CIPM zonal offices.
  • Work with CMC to ensure the institute branding is compliant across board.
  • Ensure the zonal offices support State Branch events within their zone.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Operational Targets:

  • Branch Growth and Development
  • Membership Engagement and Retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management / Administration, Social Sciences, Marketing or related discipline, Master's Degree (AMBA, MPA, or MSc in Management or Organizational Development) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years post-graduation experience in a similar role in a reputable organization.
  • Professional membership of CIPM is compulsory.

Other Requirements:

  • Proficient in the use: Computer Literate: Excel, Word,Dutlook and PowerPoints.

  • Achieving results: Sets realistic targets for himself/herself and for the team; ensures availability of resources and supports staff members in achieving results. Monitors progress and performance; evaluates achievements and integrates lessons learned.

Remuneration

  • Salary: N10,000,000 - N11,000,000 Annually
