Job Overview

• Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager with a founder’s mindset and a banker’s discipline. You’ll drive growth, partnerships, and operational excellence to make them Nigeria’s most trusted and impactful digital bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Growth & Partnerships: Expand market footprint, forge strategic partnerships, identify new revenue streams, and drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily operations, champion automation and efficiency, and ensure full compliance with CBN, NDIC, and other regulations.
• Customer Experience & Innovation: Collaborate with product and tech teams to deliver seamless digital experiences and implement innovative fintech solutions.
• Leadership & Culture: Build and lead high-performing teams, set KPIs, and foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and impact.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Entrepreneurial & Growth Leader: 8+ years in banking, fintech, or financial services (4+ years leadership); proven track record in scaling operations or business development.
• Operational & Regulatory Expertise: Strong grasp of digital banking operations, risk management, and Nigerian financial regulations.
• Versatility & Execution: Comfortable parachuting into new areas, learning fast, and delivering results far beyond your formal remit.
• Leadership Skills: Experienced in hiring, coaching, and aligning diverse stakeholders.
• Mindset: High energy, adaptable, impact-driven, and unafraid to take measured risks.
