Job Summary
As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind growing our brand, services, and impact.
You’ll work alongside teams across all Synapse branches to develop strategies that expand our reach, especially in promoting ADHD care, rTMS therapy, and our Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).
This role is equal parts strategy, outreach, and collaboration.
You’ll work closely with the admin, customer service, clinical, and digital media teams to ensure service excellence, grow our client and partner base, and shape Synapse's voice in the national conversation on mental health.
Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Coordination:
Work with Synapse’s business development team to implement coordinated business strategies across branches.
Develop and track KPIs to drive client growth, referral volume, and service uptake.
Ensure the Centre maintains consistent quality and responsiveness in client engagement.
Forge new partnerships with corporate organizations, schools, government agencies, and NGOs.
Promote EAPs and structured mental health programs for workplaces and institutional clients.
Represent the Centre in external meetings, pitches, and strategic forums.
Service Line Growth:
Spearhead awareness campaigns for our ADHD treatment services, positioning Synapse as a national and regional leader.
Lead community and industry education efforts around rTMS therapy for depression and related conditions.
Work with clinicians to strengthen internal and external referral systems, including partnerships with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied professionals.
Collaborate with the admin and customer service lead to ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, leads, and partner requests.
Personally follow up with key prospects, clients, and referral partners.
Collect feedback and identify service gaps or growth opportunities.
Digital & Content Collaboration:
Work with the media/digital team to create impactful content across platforms, especially around ADHD and rTMS.
Help plan and maintain a vibrant YouTube channel focused on mental health awareness and ADHD education.
Contribute to storytelling and media efforts that showcase Synapse's unique services and client success stories.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Healthcare Admin, Marketing, or a related field.
3 - 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic outreach, ideally in healthcare or wellness.
Solid experience writing proposals, developing strategies, and closing partnership deals.
Familiar with digital platforms (especially YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn).
Able to lead and execute public-facing campaigns and internal coordination projects.
Strong presentation, research, and reporting skills.
Desired: Experience in the mental health or healthcare space.
Desired: Previous work in ADHD-related services or neurodiversity advocacy.
Desired: Experience launching or growing a specialty health service or clinic.
