Job Title: Architect

Job Objectives
The Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and coordinating the architectural aspects of the company’s real estate developments to ensure functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
This role serves as a creative and technical bridge between clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring that all design and construction activities align with the company’s objectives, brand identity, and quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and Concept Development:
Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects.
Ensure that design proposals are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with client and company objectives.
Prepare presentation materials, including renderings, 3D models, and concept boards for client approval.
Revise and refine design solutions based on feedback from clients, consultants, and project teams.
Project Planning and Documentation:
Collaborate with engineers and quantity surveyors to produce coordinated and comprehensive construction documents.
Prepare and review architectural specifications, schedules, and material selections.
Ensure all design documentation complies with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental requirements.
Maintain proper records of design revisions, approvals, and correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordination and Communication:
Work closely with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure design integration and feasibility.
Coordinate with contractors and consultants during project execution to ensure adherence to design intent.
Participate in site and client meetings to resolve technical and design-related issues promptly.
Communicate design concepts clearly to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Conduct periodic site visits to review construction quality and compliance with approved drawings.
Recommend corrective actions to address deviations or design challenges on-site.
Ensure all architectural elements meet safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards.
Support the approval process with relevant planning authorities and regulatory bodies.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Explore new materials, design technologies, and sustainable building solutions.
Contribute creative ideas to enhance project design, efficiency, and user experience.
Participate in design reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices across projects.
Mentor junior architects and interns to develop their design and technical skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a B.Sc./M.Sc. in Architecture (ARCON registration preferred)
2 years of post-NYSC experience in design and supervision
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp
Strong portfolio and design creativity
Personal Qualities:
Strong visual and spatial design skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and creative problem-solving capacity.
