About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Export Sales & Business Development Manager to lead and expand our international market presence in cashew kernel exports.
As a newly established Agro-processing company with a daily capacity of 40MT, this role is critical to driving sustainable export growth, developing global partnerships, and positioning our brand competitively across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.
The ideal candidate will possess strong export marketing experience, deep knowledge of cashew or Agro-commodity trade, and the ability to build and manage long-term international customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Strategy:
Develop and execute export market entry and growth strategies.
Conduct global market research to identify and engage new buyers and distributors.
Build the company’s export brand identity, trade presence, and digital footprint.
Recommend competitive export pricing aligned with global trends and internal costs.
Sales & Customer Management:
Drive export sales to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Handle buyer communications, negotiations, contracts, and order fulfillment.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through CRM systems.
Represent the company in trade fairs, B2B meetings, and international exhibitions.
Export Operations & Compliance:
Oversee complete export documentation: invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates.
Liaise with NEPC, NCS, SON, and NAQS to ensure regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with production, finance, and logistics teams for timely and accurate shipment execution.
Track export incentives and documentation accuracy to ensure full compliance.
Reporting & Performance Management:
Prepare weekly/monthly sales and market intelligence reports.
Monitor KPIs covering export revenue, market penetration, and customer retention.
Ensure 100% compliance with export documentation standards and customer specifications.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achieve 60–70% plant capacity utilization in export sales within Year 1.
Establish 10–15 active international buyers and 3–4 new market regions.
Ensure 95% on-time shipment and 100% documentation accuracy.
Maintain ≥50% customer retention and achieve ≤45 days receivable period.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agricultural Economics, or International Trade.
At least 5 years proven experience in export marketing, preferably in cashew or Agro-commodity trade.
Sound understanding of export logistics, documentation, and financing.
Excellent sales negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital export platforms (Alibaba, Trade key, etc.).
Fluency in English is required; French or Arabic is an advantage.
Certification in Export Trade, NEPC, or NEXIM programs will be an added advantage.
