Job Title: Project Operations Manager

About the Role
The Project Operations Manager is responsible for translating operational strategy into effective, on-ground execution across tourism and hospitality assets.
The role ensures that facilities, people, vendors, and service standards are aligned, and that guests receive a consistent, high-quality experience. This is a hands-on, coordination-focused role that involves direct engagement with private operators and service vendors.
Develop and maintain asset-level operations plans (SOPs, opening checklists, visitor flow, service schedules) for hotels, event venues, and visitor centers.
Coordinate pre-opening and readiness activities including facility checks, cleaning, signage, consumables, and FOH/BOH setup.
Track and report daily and weekly operational status to leadership.
Hospitality Standards & Guest Experience:
Implement hospitality standards across front office, concierge, housekeeping, F&B service etiquette, and safety.
Monitor service quality, conduct mystery checks, and escalate corrective-actions where needed.
Ensure SLAs are properly defined and adhered to; escalate non-performance issues promptly.
Support procurement with scopes of work, acceptance criteria, and handover checklists.
Events & Destination Activation Support:
Provide operational support for curated events, MICE programs, and seasonal activations including access control, guest flow, logistics, and routing.
Ensure event locations meet safety, sanitation, and power requirements before go-live.
Asset Integration & Reporting:
Ensure each asset aligns with the central calendar, branding, and ticketing framework.
Maintain accurate records of site visits, defects, readiness gaps, and remediation progress.
Prepare clear, concise weekly reports and operational dashboards.
Compliance, HSE & Security:
Enforce HSE standards, crowd control measures, and emergency/evacuation readiness across facilities.
Ensure public-facing assets meet statutory, insurance, and safety compliance requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is required.
7–10 years’ experience in hotel/resort operations, event operations, or multi-site hospitality management.
Strong understanding of guest experience standards, FOH/BOH operations, and facility readiness.
Experience with large-scale projects is an added advantage.
Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills.
Comfortable working on-site, conducting inspections, and following up with contractors/vendors.
