CityCode Mortgage Bank Limited is a duly registered Primary Mortgage Bank that has remained healthy since its inception in 1992. We are also an accredited Primary Mortgage Bank (PMB) for the National Housing Fund (NHF) and a subscriber to the recently created Nigerian Mortgage Refinance Company Plc (NMRC). Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly analytical Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team.
The ideal candidate will provide strong financial stewardship, drive operational excellence, and support the long-term growth and sustainability of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership in all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
Develop and implement robust financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Oversee cash flow management, treasury functions, and capital allocation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, tax laws, and corporate governance requirements.
Lead and enhance the finance and accounts team to ensure efficiency and accountability.
Present financial performance updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to the Board and Executive Management.
Support business expansion initiatives, investment evaluations, and cost-optimization efforts.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage).
Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 10–20years relevant experience, with at least 10years in a senior financial leadership role.
Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards (IFRS).
Proven track record in financial strategy, risk management, and corporate governance.
Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
