CityCode Mortgage Bank Limited is a duly registered Primary Mortgage Bank that has remained healthy since its inception in 1992. We are also an accredited Primary Mortgage Bank (PMB) for the National Housing Fund (NHF) and a subscriber to the recently created Nigerian Mortgage Refinance Company Plc (NMRC). Job Title: Credit Administration Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Credit Administration Officer to support its growing credit operations.
The ideal candidate will ensure proper documentation, effective monitoring of mortgage facilities, and full compliance with regulatory and internal credit policies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end credit documentation for all approved mortgage and loan facilities.
Verify completeness and accuracy of all documents before disbursement, including property documents, valuations, credit bureau reports, and insurance.
Ensure timely perfection of mortgage documentation and security creation (legal mortgages, equitable mortgages, etc.).
Maintain an updated credit file system both physical and electronic for all customers.
Monitor credit facilities to ensure compliance with approval terms, repayment schedules, and collateral requirements.
Prepare regular credit portfolio reports, exposure summaries, and performance updates for management.
Work closely with Credit, Legal, Risk, and Operations units to ensure seamless credit processing.
Ensure adherence to mortgage banking regulatory guidelines (e.g., CBN, NDIC, and Mortgage Board).
Assist in loan recovery follow-up and resolution of documentation gaps.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
5–10years credit administration/credit operations experience preferably in a Mortgage Bank or commercial banking environment.
Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, property perfection processes, and collateral management.
Familiarity with CBN credit guidelines, IFRS reporting expectations, and mortgage-specific regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation management.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
