Job Title: Programs & Operations Specialist

Role Purpose
The Programs & Operations Specialist will support the Chairman and leadership team in building strong administrative, operational, and programme foundations for TGAS Foundation.
This role ensures that systems, processes, and best practices are in place to drive an efficient organisation, manage donor‑funded initiatives, develop the volunteer programme, and manage key digital and strategic platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Donor‑Funded Initiative Management:
Assist with planning, implementing and monitoring TGAS’s major initiatives (e.g., environmental, education, community development) in alignment with the Foundation’s focus areas.
Ensure programme compliance, timely deliverables and measurable impact to boost donor confidence.
Support donor research, funding prospect tracking and preparation of basic reports for funders.
Maintain documentation, metrics and evidence of results for stakeholders.
Operational & Administrative Governance:
Help establish, document and implement organizational systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows for key functions (program management, volunteer coordination, digital platforms).
Manage administrative tasks (meeting coordination, records, logistics) in support of the Chairman and leadership team.
Support website updates, social media page management and digital content coordination for the Foundation’s visibility.
Volunteer Programme Management:
Oversee volunteer recruitment, onboarding, scheduling and tracking of volunteer engagement.
Ensure volunteers meet set standards, adhere to guidelines and contribute meaningfully to TGAS initiatives.
Support volunteer communications, training sessions and recognition processes.
Strategic & Digital Initiatives:
Support the development and rollout of strategic initiatives aligned with the Foundation’s vision of sustainability, inclusion and community empowerment.
Assist with digital engagement projects (website refresh, social campaigns, online community building) to enhance awareness and reach.
Qualifications & Skills
1‑3 years’ experience in NGOs, foundations or programme management roles (preferably with environmental, education or community development focus).
Understanding of donor‑funded programmes, reporting, monitoring and evaluation is a plus.
Strong organisational, planning and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency with digital tools (e.g., Google Workspace, WordPress or website CMS, social media management tools) and comfortable learning new platforms.
A proactive, self‑starter attitude and a willingness to work in a lean, mission‑driven team.
Passion for sustainability, social inclusion and community upliftment.
Bonus: experience with volunteer coordination, digital content and environmental or educational initiatives.
