Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Sales Officer to join our dynamic sales team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, educating customers about solar energy solutions, and closing sales to meet or exceed company targets.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
Lead generation: Prospecting and identifying potential customers through various channels like cold calls, networking, and marketing campaigns.
Customer engagement: Educating clients on solar energy benefits, potential savings, and available incentives.
Site assessments: Conducting on-site evaluations to determine the feasibility of a solar installation.
Proposal development: Designing customized solar energy system proposals and providing detailed quotes.
Sales cycle management: Managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.
Client relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Provide detailed information about our solar products and services, including installation processes and the benefits they offer.
Demonstrate products and services to potential customers.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively.
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients for post-sales support and follow-up.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitive products to effectively communicate with customers.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
Qualifications
B. Tech/HND Technology, Marketing, Business Administration.
Minimum of 3 years of regular experience in the Sales of solar products and renewable energy
Strong understanding of solar technology and systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Must be ready to start work as soon as possible.
Key skill needed:
Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Negotiation: Ability to negotiate prices and contracts to close sales.
Customer focus: Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of solar PV systems, Energy usage analysis.
Sales tools: Proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis/reporting.
Organizational: Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to work under pressure.
