The Nigerian College of Agribusiness (NCA) is seeking a diligent, trustworthy, and highly organised professional for the position of Finance & Admin Officer. This role is central to the smooth financial and administrative operation of the College and supports both academic and professional programs.
The ideal candidate must be accurate, disciplined, results oriented, and capable of managing finance and administrative processes with minimal supervision. Integrity is critical.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all financial transactions including invoicing, receipts, and payment confirmations for academic and professional programs
Handle weekly and monthly reconciliation of bank statements, tuition payments, and program revenues
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation for audits and reporting
Manage petty cash, procurement, and expense tracking within approved limits
Prepare monthly income and expenditure reports, including centre-specific revenue reports
Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and program cost analysis
Handle administrative functions including staff records, document filing, and office coordination
Support student onboarding by providing payment guidance and administrative documentation
Support logistics and operations during academic and professional training programs
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards
Maintain vendor relationships and process vendor payments
Prepare financial inputs for weekly, monthly, and quarterly institutional reports
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proficiency in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial documentation
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and basic proficiency in accounting tools or software
High level of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Must be residing in or willing to relocate to Ibadan or its environs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
Desirable Skills:
Experience working with educational institutions, training organisations, NGOs, or professional bodies
Experience preparing financial reports or supporting audits
Familiarity with digital payment systems and CRM tools
Experience handling procurement and expense control
