The Managing Director is accountable for:

Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Planning:
Develop and execute the organisation’s strategic plan and mission priorities.

Corporate Governance:
Report to the Board of Directors on strategy, operations, performance and risks.
Ensure full adherence to corporate governance principles and compliance standards.
Manage compliance related issues and ensure timely escalation when necessary.
People and Culture Leadership:
Oversee recruitment, development, performance management and retention systems.
Promote ethical conduct, integrity, transparency and teamwork across the organisation.
Drive succession planning and leadership capacity building.
Operations and Business Performance:
Lead the development and improvement of operational processes and internal controls.
Ensure technology enabled operations and continuous innovation in service delivery.
Oversee the editorial and content production functions to ensure output quality.
Drive efficiency, effectiveness and excellence across business units.
Project, Financial and Market Oversight:
Manage key projects from conceptualisation to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Oversee organisational financial planning, budgeting, treasury and reporting.
Drive investment initiatives, portfolio diversification and financial sustainability.
Strengthen marketing strategy, brand positioning and revenue generation.
Qualifications and Experience
MBA or relevant postgraduate degree or professional certification.
Minimum of five years in an executive management role.
Demonstrable experience working at a strategic leadership level.
Proven competence in technology, financial markets or information and intelligence sectors.
Strong project management experience.
Ability to perform under pressure with resilience, agility and sound judgement.
