We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Officer

Position Overview

• The IT Officer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the company’s IT infrastructure.
• This includes hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and supporting digital tools used in solar and metal-tech operations.
• The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and company software.
• Manage and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, printers, routers, switches, etc.).
• Ensure uptime and reliability of networks, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide timely technical support to staff across departments (solar engineering, metal works, admin, sales).
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to software, hardware, and network failures.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection:

• Implement and monitor security protocols to protect company data and networks.
• Manage antivirus systems, firewalls, data backups, and recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with company security standards and best practices.

Software & Digital Tools:

• Support solar design software, ERP systems, CAD tools, and other specialized applications.
• Manage email systems, cloud storage, and collaboration tools.
• Assist with website updates and basic system integrations.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed logs of technical issues, resolutions, and IT usage.
• Train employees on basic IT systems and cybersecurity best practices.
• Prepare regular IT performance and maintenance reports.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc with 2 - 4 years experience.
