Job Title: Communications and Corporate Partnerships Manager
The Communications & Corporate Partnerships Manager provides strategic leadership for Salpha Energy’s internal and external communications, brand positioning, media relations, and strategic partnerships.
This role is responsible for strengthening the company’s visibility, driving brand reputation, expanding corporate and institutional partnerships, and ensuring consistent, high-quality messaging across all platforms.
The role requires a hybrid professional skilled in communications strategy, brand management, media engagement, stakeholder relationship management, partnership development and cross-functional collaboration in a multi and fast paced organization.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive, organization-wide communications and corporate partnerships strategy aligned with Salpha Energy’s mission and growth objectives.
Work with internal and external partners to execute the approved communications strategy
Establish and monitor KPIs for digital communications, media relations, brand visibility, campaigns, and corporate partnerships.
Leading the communications team to conceptualize and implement communication and dissemination strategies and campaigns.
Ensure the organization receives the strategic and tactical communications advice and support required around key initiatives
Communications Management:
Oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring brand consistency, accuracy, and alignment with strategic priorities.
Lead content development for press releases, speeches, articles, success stories, corporate briefs, newsletters, and social media content.
Ensure quality control for all communication outputs—copywriting, editing, design, layout, and digital publishing.
Coordinate and supervise web content management, SEO optimization, and updates across all digital platforms.
Monitor global and regional industry trends to identify timely communication opportunities.
Oversee the development of a rich content library including but not limited to factsheets, videos, personal stories, statistics, infographics, images, corporate e-newsletters, and other materials for use in both online and offline communications ensuring that all content is aligned to the organization’s strategic priorities
Media Relations & Public Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, and PR stakeholders.
Coordinate media engagements, press conferences, interviews, and public announcements.
Monitor media coverage, respond to media enquiries, and manage reputational risks.
Develop proactive PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and share of voice in the renewable energy sector.
Corporate Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement:
Identify, initiate, negotiate, and manage corporate partnership opportunities with retail chains, shopping malls, SMEs, NGOs, agencies, and other strategic networks.
Drive partnership models that support product distribution, brand visibility, and business expansion.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement programs, advocacy initiatives, and brand-aligned collaborations.
Maintain relationships with strategic advisors, board members, regulatory stakeholders, and ecosystem partners.
Develop partnership concept notes, proposals, MOUs, and performance reports.
Branding & Marketing Communications:
Safeguard brand identity by enforcing the company’s brand and communication guidelines.
Oversee brand campaigns, sponsorships, events, exhibitions, and CSR initiatives.
Ensure strategic brand positioning across offline and digital channels.
Manage creative agencies, vendors, and production partners to deliver high-quality brand assets on time and within budget.
Manage relationships with different stakeholder groups, including the board and panel of advisors to ensure the favourable brand perception.
Ensure all print and digital publications are delivered to deadline and consistent in quality.
Contribute to the development, back-end management/support and utilization of the organization’s websites and social media accounts.
Oversee maintenance and consistent update of the website and digital platforms.
Crisis & Reputation Management:
Implement an effective crisis management plan to mitigate potential risks and threats to the brand.
Operational & Budget Oversight:
Manage the communications and partnerships budget, ensuring cost effectiveness and ROI.
Lead the communications team, providing mentorship, performance management, and capacity-building.
Ensure timely delivery of all communication materials, campaigns and partnership activities.
Undertake such additional duties as are reasonably commensurate with the level of the post.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or post graduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Branding, or related field.
8 – 10 years relevant experience, with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role overseeing communications or partnerships.
Demonstrated experience managing high-level content development, campaigns, and brand strategy.
Portfolio of previous work demonstrating strong communications and partnership achievements.
Experience in the energy, sustainability, development, technology or consumer brands sector is an added advantage.
Strong Knowledge of Communication Strategy, Practices and Techniques.
Experience in using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere…), and social media platforms.
Proximity to the Island is a plus.
