Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Engineer at Handyman Daige in Abuja.
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for civil engineering design, planning, and other related tasks to support real estate development projects
Job Description
Develop strategic plans for construction projects, outlining objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including project managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure effective team performance and project success.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project progress, priorities, and expectatio
Oversee the allocation of resources including materials, equipment, and labor to ensure optimal project efficiency.
Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and costs to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure construction projects meet client specifications and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess work quality and compliance with safety regulations.
Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any issues or changes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating activities and sequencing tasks to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines.
Manage logistics and site operations to ensure smooth project execution and efficient use of resources.

Implement best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in project delivery.

Requirements
Minimum of B.Eng in Civil Engineering
20 years and above of work experience in construction industry and civil engineering
Must have professional engineering licenses.
