Job Title: Human Resource Officer

Job Summary
The Human Resource Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of HR policies, processes, and programs that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
The role covers recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee relations, welfare, performance management support, Client Communication and HR compliance. The HR Officer ensures smooth HR operations and acts as a bridge between management and staff.
Conduct reference checks and ensure complete documentation for new hires.
Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new staff.
Prepare employment contracts and assist in role placement.
HR Administration & Documentation:
Maintain accurate employee records in both digital and physical formats.
Update HR databases (attendance, leave, training records, appraisals).
Prepare HR correspondence, including promotion letters, queries, memos, confirmations, and warnings.
Manage employee ID cards, file management, and data updates.
Employee Relations:
Provide first-level HR support for staff inquiries and policy clarification.
Support conflict resolution and incident documentation.
Participate in employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and team-building activities.
Escalate sensitive HR matters to the HR Manager where necessary.
Compliance & Statutory Management:
Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
Support HR audits and internal compliance checks.
Leave, Attendance & Payroll Support:
Monitor attendance, punctuality, and update biometric systems.
Track probation periods, contract expirations, and other employee lifecycle events.
Prepare payroll inputs such as allowances, deductions, overtime, and absences.
Maintain leave records and ensure accurate leave approvals.
Training & Performance Management:
Support implementation of the annual training and development plan.
Coordinate logistics for training sessions (venue, materials, communication).
Maintain training records and follow up on performance appraisal submissions.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
Regularly follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any Client-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and communications
Make regular calls and emails to clients regarding property updates.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Industrial Relations, or related field.
2–4 years relevant HR experience (hospital experience is an advantage if needed).
CIPM/SHRM certification or student membership is an added advantage.
Working knowledge of HR software/HRIS, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
