Job Title: Deputy QAQC Manager

Job Summary

• The QA/QC Deputy Manager supports the QA/QC Manager in maintaining and enhancing the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring compliance with ISO, regulatory, and client requirements.
• The role assists in developing and improving QA/QC policies and procedures, reviewing engineering deliverables, and overseeing quality processes across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
• The Deputy Manager helps lead inspections, audits, FATs, and testing activities, facilitates the resolution of non-conformities, and ensures proper documentation of quality records.
• The position also collaborates with project teams to address quality issues, promotes safety within QA/QC operations, and supports communication with clients, regulators, and certification bodies.

Responsibilities

• Assistin the implementation and maintenance of the company's QMS.
• Support the development and enforcement of quality policies and procedures in line withindustrybest practices.
• Ensure compliance with international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, API, NACE, etc.).
• Provide guidance on quality control processes across all phases of projects.
• Assistin the review and audit of engineering deliverables from the Engineering Service Contractor (ESC).
• Support the QA/QC Manager in conducting periodic internal and external audits to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Identifynon-conformances and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and review QA/QC reports, including surveillance reports, test summaries, and audit findings.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all inspections, tests, and quality-related activities.
• Ensure all test reports from fabrication yards and project sites are properly documented and archived.
• Assistin the coordination of project material inspections in collaboration with QA/QC Inspectors.
• Monitor and verify quality control processes for welding, coating, NDT, and material testing.
• Support the resolution of quality issues by working closely with project managers and engineers.
• Supervise and provide guidance to QA/QC Inspectors and Engineers.
• Foster a quality-driven culture by promoting continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.
• Act as the QA/QC Manager's representative in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 8 – 10 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role in EPC Industry
• Strong knowledge of industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASME, API, NACE) is an advantage.
• Experience in quality control for oil & gas, engineering, fabrication, and construction projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
