Pulse is Africa’s leading innovative media company, informing and engaging Africa’s young audience - and providing expansive media reach and creative marketing solutions to partners. We run news websites and social channels and marketing and production across Francophone and Anglophone West Africa and East Africa.
The Brand Designer shapes and maintains the full visual identity of Pulse Media across social, editorial, and video channels. You will design assets that support daily publishing, brand campaigns, show formats, and long-form editorial projects. Your work guides how Pulse looks and feels across every touchpoint.
You will build design systems that help teams move faster. This includes templates, thumbnail styles, layout structures, typography rules, colour use, and graphics that stay clear across all formats.
You will work with Social, Editorial, and Video leads to understand their daily needs and provide design solutions that improve clarity, reach, and engagement. You will refine visuals for news posts, features, YouTube shows, explainers, interviews, and campaign work.
Your role supports the entire Pulse Media output. You will keep the brand identity intact, improve visual quality, and make our content stand out with a style that audiences recognise instantly.
