Job Summary

• The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the financial strategy and operations of the asset management company, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and compliance with financial regulations.
• This role involves leading financial planning, risk management, and reporting, while driving strategic initiatives to optimize asset performance and shareholder value.
• The CFO will collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with organisational objectives, fostering transparency and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisation’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support informed decision-making and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls and adherence to industry standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and trust.
• Monitor and optimize the financial performance of asset portfolios, driving profitability and sustainable growth.
• Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years experience in finance, accounting, or asset management, with at least 7 years in a senior financial leadership role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACA) is highly desirable.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and risk management within the asset management industry.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of driving financial performance.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards in asset management.
• Ability to develop and implement financial strategies that deliver measurable results and support long-term organisational growth.
• Must be willing to relocate
