We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shift Security Officer – L5

Location: Muro Site, Nasarawa
Department: Security & Loss Prevention
Shift: Rotational (Day/Night)

Role Overview

• The Shift Security Officer ensures the safety of personnel, assets, and property across steel plant and mining operations.
• The role includes access control, surveillance, incident response, and enforcing security and safety procedures in high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control & Gate Management
• Manage entry/exit of employees, contractors, and vehicles.
• Verify IDs, gate passes, MMPs, and visitor passes.
• Check inbound/outbound trucks and prevent unauthorized access.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Safeguard stores, fuel depots, equipment yards, and substations.
• Support evacuations and coordinate with Fire & Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate; ex-servicemen or industrial security experience preferred.
• 2–5 years in plant security.
• Knowledge of CCTV, firefighting, and emergency procedures.
• Under 50 years, medically fit.

Working Condition:

• Basic computer and CCTV skills.
• Rotational shifts, including nights.
• Interaction with Army, MOPOL, NSCDC, and local authorities.
