This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abuja for a Google Ads Specialist who will also oversee the broader digital marketing ecosystem of Housing TV Africa.
The role involves developing, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns primarily on Google Ads while also managing SEO, SEM, social media strategy, website ranking, content marketing, YouTube channel growth, and monetisation.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in paid ads with strong digital marketing leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to scale online visibility and revenue.
You will manage digital campaigns across multiple platforms, mentor team members, and ensure consistent alignment with business and brand goals.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and optimize high-performing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Video, YouTube Ads).
Monitor and adjust paid campaigns in real-time to maximize ROI, increase conversions, and meet KPIs.
Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and A/B testing to refine campaigns.
Manage additional paid advertising platforms including Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
Develop and lead overall digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
Mentor and supervise a digital marketing team, fostering creativity and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with sales, production, communications, and IT teams to ensure integrated marketing efforts.
Oversee SEO strategies to improve website ranking, organic visibility, and user experience.
Work with developers to enhance website performance, accessibility, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Monitor website analytics and search performance to drive improvements.
Develop and execute strategies to grow Housing TV Africa’s YouTube channel.
Optimize video metadata (titles, tags, thumbnails, descriptions) for ranking and audience retention.
Implement monetisation best practices and ensure compliance with YouTube Partner Program policies.
Analyze YouTube analytics to identify content opportunities and performance trends.
Oversee production and distribution of high-quality content across websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media.
Ensure brand consistency and adherence to editorial guidelines across all platforms.
Lead content marketing initiatives that nurture leads and build online communities.
Direct social media strategies to enhance engagement, audience growth, and brand loyalty.
Monitor trends, manage online reputation, and oversee interactions across all platforms.
Track and evaluate performance metrics for paid ads, social media, SEO, and website traffic.
Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, HubSpot, and Meta Business Suite to extract insights.
Present regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Develop, oversee, and optimize the digital marketing budget.
Ensure efficient allocation of spend across marketing channels to maximize ROI.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree or digital marketing certifications (Google Ads, HubSpot, Meta Blueprint) is an added advantage.
7–10+ years of progressive digital marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
Proven success in managing large-scale Google Ads campaigns and leading digital teams.
Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, content strategy, and social media management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Proficiency in digital tools: Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, SEMrush, Mailchimp, HubSpot, WordPress, and other relevant platforms.
