We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Boiler Operator
Location: Anambra
Responsibilities
Boiler Operations: Assist the manager in overseeing the operation and maintenance of industrial boilers, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability. Monitor key operational parameters, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.
Reliable Steam Supply: Maintain a consistent and reliable steam supply to support manufacturing processes, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
Maintenance Coordinate: Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for boilers and related equipment. Manage repair and upgrade projects to ensure minimal downtime and maximum equipment reliability.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and environmental regulations.
Efficiency Optimization: Analyze operational data, identify inefficiencies, and implement strategies to optimize boiler efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and minimize operational costs.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with local, state, and federal regulations related to boiler operations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, permits, and certifications.
Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness in the boiler room and surrounding areas. Dispose of waste materials properly and organize tools and equipment to ensure a safe and orderly workspace.

The Person
National Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a vocational training program in boiler operation is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial boiler operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team effectively.
In-depth knowledge of industrial boiler systems, controls, and operations. Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing boiler-related issues.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers. Familiarity with panel monitoring systems and basic troubleshooting skills.
Strong understanding of safety protocols, hazard identification, and emergency response procedures. Knowledge of environmental regulations related to boiler emissions.
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report operational status effectively.
