9mobile is a Nigerian private limited liability company. EMTS acquired a Unified Access Service License from the Nigerian Communications Commission in 2007. The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.

Job Title: Specialist, Product Management
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
To drive the lifecycle of digital products from strategy to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
Roles and Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and opportunities.
Product Development Lifecycle:
Manage product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of products.
Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders and users.
User Experience & Feedback:
Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to improve product performance.
Integrate user testing results into product enhancements
Stakeholder Engagement:
Align product goals with input from Marketing, Sales, and Technology teams.
Communicate product vision, updates, and roadmaps effectively to stakeholders.
Governance & Performance Monitoring:
Track KPIs and success metrics for products to ensure commercial and strategic goals are met.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and quality standards for digital products.
Key Performance Indicators
Achievement of product adoption and revenue targets.
Customer satisfaction and retention levels for products.
On-time delivery of product milestones and roadmap items.
Quality and impact of product enhancements driven by feedback and insights.
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
3-5 years’ experience in product management within a digital environment
Proven ability to manage full product lifecycle and cross-functional collaboration
Experience working in the innovation ecosystem is an added advantage.
Certifications in product management and product marketing
Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools
Required Capabilities:
Knowledge:
Understanding of digital ecosystems and product development best practices.
Knowledge of customer research, segmentation, and go-to-market strategies.
Knowledge of Telecom and digital services industry landscape is an added advantage
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication (verbal and written)
Proficiency in roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and product requirement documentation.
