Job Title: Restaurant Waitress and Cashier

Restaurant Waitress

• The Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a smooth dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat customers politely.
• Present menus and explain specials or promotions.
• Take accurate food and drink orders.
• Serve meals and beverages promptly and correctly.
• Ensure tables are clean, set, and properly arranged at all times.
• Attend to customer needs and complaints professionally.
• Process payments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and service quality standards.
• Work with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow.

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience is an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Polite, confident, and customer-friendly.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Basic POS knowledge is an advantage.
• Teamwork and time-management skills.
• Neat appearance and good personal hygiene.

Cashier
Position Summary:

• The Cashier handles billing, customer payments, POS operations, and ensures accurate financial transactions while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system for billing and order payments.
• Issue receipts, handle cash, and record daily sales accurately.
• Maintain cash drawers and balance accounts at closing.
• Answer customer questions about pricing, bills, or transactions.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen, and bar to confirm orders and charges.
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and secure.
• Report any POS issues or discrepancies immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Follow company financial and security policies.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong numeracy and accuracy.
• Experience with POS systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, accountable, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work under pressure, especially during rush hours.
• Neat appearance and professional conduct.
