Job Title: Company Site Representative (CSR)
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Contract: Long Term International Contract (LTIC)
Rotation: 4x4 weeks
Reports to: Maintenance Superintendent
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated to lead and oversee maintenance operations on the AKPO FPSO, ensuring safety, performance, and seamless collaboration with our multinational teams and client partners.
The CSR acts as SPIE Global Services Energy's primary representative on the AKPO FPSO, ensuring safe and efficient execution of maintenance, brownfield modifications, and operational support for TotalEnergies Nigeria.
This role requires leadership to supervise contractor teams, enforce HSE standards, and drive contract performance while minimizing downtime on this deepwater asset.
Key Responsibilities
Represent SPIE onsite, validating work packs, permits to work, and compliance with AKPO-specific SimOps rules and client procedures.
Supervise multi-discipline maintenance activities across rotating and static equipment, ensuring alignment with contract scope and KPIs.
Monitor contractor performance, track progress through daily/weekly reports, and manage punch lists for commissioning and handover readiness.
Lead HSE meetings, conduct safety tours, and intervene on unsafe acts; report incidents per SPIE and client protocols.
Coordinate with the client’s OIM, operations, and onshore teams for planning, logistics, and issue resolution during shutdowns and turnarounds.
Analyze deviations, propose improvements, and support root cause analysis to enhance reliability and reduce deferrals.
Profile
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) with 10+ years in upstream oil & gas and at least 5 years offshore experience as CSR or Supervisor on FPSOs.
Proven experience on Nigerian deepwater assets (AKPO/EGINA/EGOSI preferred) with familiarity of TotalEnergies governance and standards.
10 years’ experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations,
A knowledge of the principles related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations
BOSIET/HUET certified; valid medical (OGUK/UKOOA)
Physical ability to work on <> installations in the climatic conditions of the site
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work in multicultural teams and client environments. (score of >> 3.5 in standard Total test or Bright test or 780 in TOEIC)
Strong planning and scheduling skills; proficient with CMMS systems (Maximo, IFS) and MS Office tools for reporting.
Demonstrated leadership in high-pressure, safety-critical environments with the authority to stop work when required.
Knowledge of API standards, Permit to Work systems, and simultaneous operations (SimOps) in live production environments.
