Job Description

• A mixologist job description involves creating, preparing, and serving cocktails and other beverages, with a strong emphasis on crafting unique drinks and providing exceptional customer service.
• Key responsibilities include designing innovative recipes, maintaining a clean and organized bar, managing inventory, and potentially training other staff.
• Mixologists require a deep knowledge of spirits, ingredients, and mixing techniques, as well as strong communication and customer service skills.
• Prepares and mixes ingredients and prepares alcohol cocktails, other alcohol drinks or non-alcohol beverages for bar, restaurant and banquet guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Drink creation: Design and create unique and high-quality cocktails, including signature drinks, and prepare classic cocktails and other beverages.
• Customer service: Engage with customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
• Bar management: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including managing inventory and ordering supplies.
• Operations: Collect payments, ensure patrons are of legal drinking age, and collaborate with servers and other staff.
• Training: Train and oversee other bartenders or bar staff on drink preparation and service standards.

Requirements

• Mixology knowledge:In-depth understanding of spirits, liqueurs, ingredients, flavor combinations, and advanced mixing techniques.
• Customer interaction:Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service.
• Creativity:Flair for creating new and innovative cocktail recipes and presentations.
• Physical and operational abilities:Dexterity for drink preparation, ability to lift weights, and availability for various shifts.
• Attention to detail:Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards for taste and presentation.
• Knowledge of regulations:Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to serving alcohol.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
