Job Title: Lead Treasury & Cashflow Management

Summary of Responsibilities
The Lead, Treasury and Cash flow Management is a strategic leader responsible for ensuring optimal liquidity management, minimizing financial risks, and fostering strong relationships with financial institutions.
This role manages cash flow, investments, and risk mitigation strategies to support Rosabon’s working capital strategic goals.
The Treasurer is a pivotal role that combines strategic oversight with operational excellence, ensuring that Rosabon Financial Services achieves its financial stability and growth objectives.
Cash Management:
Oversee daily cash balances to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs and financial obligations.
Design and implement cash flow forecasting models to anticipate and address future liquidity requirements.
Optimize working capital by working with other team leads within the Accounts and Finance department.
Collaborate with departments to ensure accuracy and timeliness in cash flow reporting.
Develop short-term borrowing and repayment plans to address liquidity demands efficiently.
Ensure precise and timely execution of all treasury-related transactions.
Maintain comprehensive cash management strategies to mitigate risks of shortages or excesses.
Investment Management:
Develop strategies for managing surplus funds to achieve optimal returns while mitigating risks.
Conduct evaluations of potential investment opportunities to align with corporate objectives and risk tolerance.
Monitor market trends to identify investment risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Maintain a diversified investment portfolio, balancing risk and return effectively.
Partner with external financial advisors to enhance investment strategy and portfolio performance.
Prepare comprehensive performance reports on investments, recommending adjustments as necessary.
Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards governing investment activities.
Vendors’ and Clients’ Payments Management:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors/clients while adhering to company policies and agreed timelines.
Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on payment statuses, highlighting any delays or issues.
Conduct periodic reviews of payment processes to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Collaborate with the finance teams to align risk management initiatives with broader financial goals.
Monitor payment schedules for vendors and clients to ensure smooth cash flow and liquidity management.
Banking and Financial Relationships:
Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with banks and financial institutions.
Negotiate favorable terms for banking services, credit facilities, and other financial agreements.
Monitor and optimize the structure of bank accounts for cost efficiency and effectiveness.
Act as the primary liaison for all banking and treasury-related communications.
Ensure compliance with loan agreements, including adherence to covenants and obligations.
Review and approve bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Regularly assess banking arrangements to maximize service quality and minimize costs.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present treasury reports, including cash flow status and investment performance, to senior management.
Maintain accurate and transparent records of treasury transactions and activities.
Develop dashboards and visualization tools to communicate key treasury metrics effectively.
Comply with all regulatory reporting requirements and stakeholder obligations.
Document and update treasury policies and procedures for consistency and accessibility.
Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on financial trends and analysis.
Support internal and external audits by furnishing comprehensive and accurate documentation.
Technology and Process Improvement:
Drive the adoption of advanced treasury management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Conduct regular reviews of treasury processes to identify and implement improvements.
Work closely with IT teams to ensure integration of treasury systems with broader financial tools.
Stay updated on emerging technologies to promote innovation in treasury management.
Automate routine treasury tasks to reduce manual intervention and improve accuracy.
Organize training for team members on new systems and technological tools.
Periodically evaluate system performance and recommend upgrades or changes as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Certifications: Equivalent professional certifications are preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years of treasury management experience, with 3 years in a leadership role.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong expertise in liquidity management, investment strategies, and financial risk mitigation.
Proficiency in treasury management systems and advanced financial modeling tools.
