Job Title: Office Cleaner

Location: Allen, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Admin Officer

Job Purpose

• The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the office premises and ensuring that all areas are safe, presentable, and in accordance with health and safety standards.

Job Description

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across the building.
• Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces such as desks, countertops, and windowsills.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring the replenishment of soap,and toilet tissue.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials.
• Clean and maintain office kitchen and communal areas, including washing dishes and wiping down surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of upholstery, and other surfaces as required.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is in good working condition and properly stored.
• Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
• Follow cleaning protocols to ensure the safety of the environment.
• Use cleaning products according to safety instructions.
• Report any hazards or safety issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills

• FSLC / OND / SSCE qualification with 2 - 4 year experience.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and materials.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift cleaning materials or equipment.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proximity to location is essential.
