The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales function to achieve aggressive revenue and growth targets. This role will oversee a team of sales executives/representatives, drive high-performance sales activities, build and manage a strong pipeline, and ensure consistent conversion of qualified leads into closed deals.
The ideal candidate is a strategic closer with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding high sales targets in real estate or a similar high-value industry.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Target Delivery:
Own and deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales target
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed individual and team targets.
Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews and pipeline meetings.
Provide ongoing sales training, role-plays, and field coaching for team members.
Pipeline & Strategy Management;
Build, manage, and optimize a strong sales pipeline across various channels (referrals, digital leads, networking, partnerships, cold outreach).
Analyse sales data, conversion ratios, and lead sources to refine strategy and improve closing rates.
Design and implement sales campaigns, promos, and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
Key Client & Deal Management:
Personally lead negotiations and closing of high-value deals and strategic clients.
Support team members on complex transactions, documentation, and closing processes.
Ensure all deals comply with company policies, pricing structures, and real estate regulations.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, property pricing, and customer preferences, providing strategic feedback to management.
Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, weekly/monthly reports, and performance dashboards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional client experience.
Provide feedback on product offerings, pricing, and customer needs to support business decision-making.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, investors, partners, and agents to drive repeat business and referrals.
Ensure professional after-sales follow-up and client satisfaction, especially for premium and high-value clients.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Estate Management, or a related field.
5–7 years proven sales experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial sales role, preferably in real estate or high-ticket sales.
Strong and verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding high revenue targets.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and people-management skills.
Strong negotiation, closing, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, sales reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be comfortable with fieldwork, including property tours, client visits, and outdoor marketing; this role is not fully office-based.
