About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Planner to join our growing construction team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure and road construction projects, with proven expertise in project control tools, methodologies, and reporting.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can support project delivery from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using recognized planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Prepare project planning documents including work breakdown structures (WBS), baseline schedules, critical path analysis, and resource loading.
Monitor project progress and prepare periodic progress reports, schedule forecasts, and risk analyses.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Site Teams to ensure accurate and timely collection of schedule inputs.
Analyze deviations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to support effective decision-making.
Support project meetings with planning inputs and schedule performance reports.
Ensure planning and reporting compliance with industry standards and company processes.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of proven planning experience in the construction industry, particularly in road, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional certification in project planning or project controls (e.g., Primavera P6 Certification, PMI-SP, PMP, AACE certifications) is highly preferred.
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and relevant planning software.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience working on large-scale construction projects (roads, bridges, infrastructure).
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
