Job Overview

• We are looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our furniture production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing furniture pieces with high attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to project specifications.
• Build, assemble, and repair furniture such as wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, doors, tables, and bespoke items.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, designs, and measurements.
• Operate woodworking machinery, tools, and equipment safely.
• Ensure fittings, joints, and finishing are completed to a high standard.
• Conduct quality checks on all completed work.
• Work closely with designers, production supervisors, and other carpenters to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Provide accurate time estimates for project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in a furniture company or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow specifications accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with modern carpentry machines (CNC, edge banding, cutting machines).
• Knowledge of various wood types and finishing processes.
