Job Title: Architect

Location: Awoyaya, Lagos

Job Overview

• We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Architect to join our team.
• The ideal candidate must have strong experience managing projects from conception to completion, including design, planning, coordination, and site supervision.
• You will work closely with clients, contractors, and the internal team to deliver high-quality architectural solutions that reflect our company’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from initial concept through design, development, and final completion.
• Meet with clients to understand design requirements, project goals, and budget constraints.
• Prepare architectural drawings, 3D models, layouts, and detailed plans.
• Produce planning applications, building regulation drawings, and construction documents.
• Liaise with engineers, contractors, quantity surveyors, and other professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
• Oversee project timelines, coordinate project activities, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Manage project budgets, materials specifications, and procurement processes where required.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
• Provide project updates, reports, and professional advice to management and clients.
• Lead problem-solving discussions and provide clear solutions during construction stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Proven experience managing architectural projects from start to finish.
• Strong design skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
• Strong organisational, leadership, and project coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in residential, commercial, or interior fit-out projects (customisable).
• Knowledge of sustainable architecture and modern design trends.
