Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Ebute Metta, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner who will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organized environment within the facility.
• The role ensures that all areas, workspaces, restrooms, common areas, and surrounding premises, remain tidy and safe for employees, customers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Maintenance:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or polish floors daily.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, shelves, and equipment.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, toilets, wash basins, and replenish supplies (soap, tissue, air fresheners).
• Empty and clean trash bins; dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of reception areas, meeting rooms, kitchenettes, and staff lounges.
• Report any maintenance issues (leaks, damages, broken fittings) to the supervisor.

Hygiene & Safety:

• Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and in compliance with safety standards.
• Keep cleaning equipment and storage areas organized.
• Ensure proper ventilation during cleaning.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and hazards.

Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:

• Minimum of SSCE (preferred, not mandatory).
• Prior cleaning experience is an added advantage.

Skills:

• Good knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time management and attention to detail.

Personal Attributes:

• Honest and trustworthy.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Hygienic, organized, and professional.

Working Conditions:

• Shift-based schedule when required.
• Flexible working hours depending on operational needs.
• Indoor and outdoor cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Use of cleaning equipment and chemicals following safety procedures.

Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 Monthly.
