We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: MEP Draftsman

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Follow complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings
• Take verbal direction and implementing it into sketches and calculations to produce the final work
• Produce plans, elevations, technical details, and building layouts
• Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings
• Draw maps, diagrams, or plans for construction projects and structures
• Plan and drawing details of bridges, highways, and wastewater management systems
• Site visitation
• Work with architects, engineers, building services, and other construction workers in producing plans and drawings.
• Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and make modifications to existing drawings
• Use a variety of CAD software programs to create designs in 2D and 3D models
• Liaise with engineers, and designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians
• Provide accurate, detailed, and scale drawings
• Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocols
• Calculate costs and apply knowledge of materials and engineering principles to check the feasibility of the manufacture and construction of the product
• Conduct site visits and surveys when required
• Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture/construction, and installation
• Produce installation and manufacturing documentation
• Maintain accurate records
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BSc. Degree / HND in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in same role
• Degree from a technical college also acceptable.
• Revit experience is compulsory
