Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead Ziti’s visibility, digital growth, and lead-generation efforts across multiple online platforms and communities.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media activities, promoting Ziti Academy programs, and building simple but effective marketing funnels that attract and nurture high-quality leads.
You will actively identify new growth channels, engage with potential learners and partners, and ensure a consistent pipeline of prospects for Ziti Academy.
This role is ideal for a creative, data-driven marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about edtech, youth empowerment, and the development of African digital talent.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales Growth:
Drive consistent inbound leads by promoting Ziti Academy programs across targeted tech communities, forums, WhatsApp/Telegram groups, and digital ecosystems.
Optimize visibility strategies to convert awareness into enquiries, applications, and enrolments.
Develop and execute lead-generation campaigns that directly support monthly sales targets.
Identify and activate high-performing visibility channels, partnerships, micro-influencers, and community leads that can deliver qualified prospects.
Build and manage simple lead funnels that move prospects from awareness → interest → application → enrolment.
Content Creation for Sales Conversion:
Create high-impact content designed specifically to attract, nurture, and convert leads — including success stories, learner wins, program benefits, upcoming cohort promotions, and compelling CTAs.
Produce weekly content calendars aligned with campaign targets, launch timelines, and admissions goals.
Develop platform-specific creatives (videos, graphics, carousels) for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X that drive traffic and enquiries.
Social Media Engagement & Lead Generation:
Respond promptly to comments, DMs, and enquiries to nurture warm leads and shorten the conversion cycle.
Participate in relevant online conversations to position Ziti as a trusted, high-value learning community.
Amplify content through strategic hashtags, tagging, community engagement, and thought-leadership interactions that boost reach and consideration.
Marketing operations & Funnel optimization:
Support the creation of lead magnets, landing pages, email sequences, and nurturing workflows that improve prospect conversion.
Monitor weekly marketing metrics — leads generated, engagement, click-through rates, conversion percentage, and reach — with actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the Academy and Talent teams to execute promotional campaigns that drive cohort enrolments and program awareness.
Qualifications
Experience working in a fast-paced startup and a passion for building early-stage brands.
4+ years experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
Strong familiarity with lead-generation strategies (organic or paid).
Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
Ability to create short-form videos and graphics.
Experience in edtech, youth empowerment, or African digital talent is a strong advantage.
