Job Purpose
The Officer will be directly responsible for strict compliance with Quality, environmental, Health and Safety support in the assigned region/patch
To ensure provision of support for the CR stores, to reduce incidences of business interruption through quality/EHS process failure and non – compliance to regulatory and statutory requirements.
Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
To strictly adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements in assigned region.
To ensure adherence to all the safety and environment regulations within and around CR stores.
To ensure effective co-ordination and support for the CR stores within the assigned region/patch on quality and safety functions
To ensure calibration of all the measuring and weighing equipment in the CR stores.
To ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness in the area of control all the time.
To strictly adhere to the requirements of the ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, and 45000 and other company adopted management system.
To ensure and maintain all operations, and technical document assigned to him.
To ensure strict conformity to cGMP, and GHP always
To submit the required reports example: daily, weekly, monthly or any periodic reports to the line manager.
To identify non-conformities picked in the Store and escalate as appropriate to Store Management and line Manager
To follow up on resolution of issues picked with respective Stores
Key Performance Indicators:
The business interruption time as a result of non – compliance to regulatory and statutory standard should be less than 0.5% of the number of operating periods
The incidence of product quality complaint occasioned by non – compliance to process should be reduced
Reduction in regulatory cost

Job Specifications
Educational Requirements:
Min. B.Sc/HND in Biochemistry; Food Sc & Tech; Microbiology and other related science field
Professional Requirements:
Possession of any relevant certification in Food Safety, Occupational Safety, Fire Safety or Health Safety and Environment
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role is required
Knowledge Requirements:
Knowledge of food operations
Knowledge of current Good Hygiene practice
Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and requirements
Knowledge of Quality Assurance policies and procedures and Safety – Food, Fire, Occupational Health and Environment
Knowledge of interpretation and dissemination of technical and scientific information

Investigate conformance to Company specification and deliverables
Report Quality or Safety issues to ensure conformance to Specifications and quality deliverables
Working Conditions:
Job holder typically work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, although some roles may involve weekend or evening work.
Job role is largely field work, overtime may also be required in this role, for example, during new Store Openings.
