Job Title: Secondary School Educator

Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT)

Description

ICT Teacher:

• Teach ICT/Computing concepts—coding, digital literacy, data processing, and IGCSE ICT.
• Facilitate practical sessions in software applications, networking basics, and safety online.
• Prepare students for IGCSE and other standardized ICT assessments.

Science Teachers (Biology, Chemistry, Physics):

• Deliver high-quality science lessons following British and IGCSE standards.
• Conduct practical laboratory sessions ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Assess learners using a variety of tools and prepare them for external examinations.

Mathematics Teacher:

• Teach mathematics from lower secondary to IGCSE level.
• Prepare learners for exams through rigorous problem-solving and analytical skill-building.
• Integrate technology into mathematics teaching for improved learning outcomes.

Sociology Teacher:

• Teach Sociology at KS3, KS4, and IGCSE levels.
• Introduce learners to concepts of social behaviour, institutions, culture, and society.
• Support students in research work, case studies, and discussions.

CRS (Christian Religious Studies) Teacher:

• Teach Biblical studies and Christian doctrine aligned with the school’s ethos.
• Foster spiritual growth, values, and character formation among learners.
• Organise chapel activities, Bible quizzes, and faith-based discussions.

Biology Teacher:

• Teach Biology using international curriculum frameworks and IGCSE standards.
• Lead laboratory activities, research projects, and field studies.
• Evaluate students’ progress using varied assessment strategies.

Agricultural Science Teacher:

• Teach agricultural science concepts including crop production, animal husbandry, and agribusiness.
• Facilitate practical sessions and school farm activities.
• Prepare students for examinations and agricultural projects.

Basic Science Teacher:

• Teach Integrated Science topics at junior secondary level.
• Prepare learners for STEM competitions and hands-on experiments.
• Encourage scientific curiosity and problem-solving skills.

Economics Teacher:

• Teach microeconomics, macroeconomics, and development economics using IGCSE guidelines.
• Prepare learners for internal and external examinations.
• Engage students in real-life economic issues and case studies.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
• Must be IGCSE Certified.
• Teaching qualification (PGDE, TRCN, etc.) is compulsory.
• 2–5 years relevant experience in a reputable international school
• Strong communication, classroom management, and ICT skills
• Commitment to child-safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
