Job Description
The Admin / Inventory Officer ensures effective administrative coordination, accurate material tracking, and timely support for the production and packaging teams.
This role upholds accountability, documentation integrity, and operational discipline across alldepartments — ensuring that resources, materials, and records are efficiently managed and aligned with Slurp’s production and business goals.
Key Objectives
Maintain accurate and real-time inventory records for fruits, packaging materials, and supplies.
Provide administrative and documentation support to management and all operational teams.
Ensure timely procurement, stock replenishment, and record-keeping.
Support compliance and ensure smooth daily workflow between production, packaging, andmanagement.
Core Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Maintain a daily log of all fruit, packaging, and supply items.
Record stock inflow, usage, and balance on both the Inventory Board and Digital Tracker.
Conduct physical stock checks weekly and reconcile with production and packaging logs.
Update reorder levels and alert management before shortages occur.
Support the Head of Production in verifying received materials for quality and quantity.
Track suppliers, pricing, and delivery schedules for fruits and packaging materials.
Procurement & Supply Coordination:
Prepare and submit requisitions for approval based on stock levels.
Source and negotiate with suppliers for cost efficiency.
Collect receipts and delivery notes for all purchases and submit to Finance for reconciliation.
Maintain vendor database (contact info, terms, and payment timelines).
Ensure on-time delivery of fruits and supplies to avoid production downtime.
Administrative Support:
Maintain a filing system for daily reports, invoices, and certificates.
Collate and submit staff attendance, timesheets, and operational reports weekly.
Support HR-related administrative tasks such as onboarding documentation and certification tracking.
Prepare and print internal forms (requisitions, delivery notes, checklists, etc.).
Manage correspondence between departments and ensure timely communication flow.
Reporting & Compliance:
Submit daily inventory reports to the Managing Partner.
Maintain updated health and safety documentation (food handler, fumigation, medical, etc.).
Support SOP implementation across departments by ensuring all checklists are in use.
Assist in preparing monthly operational summaries (stock, supply, wastage).
File and archive all supplier and operational records for easy reference.
Required Skills & Attributes:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and digital reporting tools.
Integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
Ability to coordinate across multiple departments under pressure.
Familiarity with inventory and administrative workflows in FMCG or production environments.
Qualifications
Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
2–3 years relevant experience in administrative or inventory management roles.
Prior experience in food production or beverage industry is an added advantage.
Work Schedule:
Days: Monday to Saturday
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility during events or stock audit days)
