Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced and business-driven Operations Manager to elevate our sales and operational efficiency especially during the high-demand festive season.
Role Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensure service excellence, drive sales, manage staff, and uphold the brand standards of the restaurant.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and commercially minded with experience in high-end dining environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
Oversee daily restaurant operations across service, kitchen, and customer experience.
Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Maintain high standards of food quality, service delivery, hygiene, and safety.
Implement operational processes, SOPs, and service standards that reflect the restaurant’s brand.
Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relations to ensure business continuity.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, foot traffic, and customer spend—especially during the festive period.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and provide actionable insights.
Drive upselling initiatives and ensure staff are meeting sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, group bookings, and event sales.
Customer Experience:
Ensure an exceptional and memorable guest experience at every touchpoint.
Address customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak hours.
Team Leadership & Performance:
Supervise, coach, and motivate staff to uphold excellent service standards.
Conduct training sessions for service improvement, upselling, and customer engagement.
Manage shift schedules, attendance, discipline, and performance reviews.
Financial & Administrative Oversight:
Oversee cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting.
Monitor operational expenses and ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Prepare regular operational and sales performance reports for management.
Festive Season Strategy & Execution:
Lead high-volume operations and ensure readiness for holiday traffic.
Execute festive promotions, themed events, and customer engagement activities.
Ensure staff are adequately trained, scheduled, and equipped for peak periods.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
3–5 years experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in a high-end restaurant, lounge, or hospitality brand.
Strong sales drive with proven experience increasing revenue.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
Excellent understanding of restaurant operations and customer service.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments—especially during festive seasons.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Compensation
Monthly Salary + Commission.
