Job Description

• The Senior Production Lounge Chef will oversee the culinary operations of a vibrant nightlife lounge, ensuring top-quality food production, menu creativity, and kitchen efficiency.
• The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in lounge or nightlife entertainment settings and strong expertise in Italian, Lebanese, Continental, and Intercontinental cuisines.

Key Responsibilities
Culinary Operations & Food Production:

• Lead daily food production and ensure consistent high-quality dish preparation.

Create, refine, and execute menus themed around Italian, Lebanese, Continental, and Intercontinental cuisine.

• Oversee portion control, presentation standards, and food taste consistency.
• Ensure all meals are prepared according to established recipes and brand standards.

Kitchen Management:

• Supervise kitchen staff, assign duties, and maintain a smooth kitchen workflow.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are strictly adhered to at all times.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate ordering of ingredients and supplies.
• Manage food cost, reduce wastage, and ensure efficient use of resources.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Maintain high standards of food safety in compliance with health regulations.
• Monitor equipment functionality and schedule maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Ensure all kitchen operations comply with lounge policies and industry best practices.

Menu Development & Innovation:

• Introduce creative menu ideas suitable for nightlife entertainment settings.
• Develop seasonal or promotional dishes to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Review customer feedback and adjust recipes or menus accordingly.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
• Work closely with management and service teams to ensure seamless food service.
• Coordinate preparation for events, VIP service, and lounge peak hours.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of proven experience as a Chef in a lounge, nightlife entertainment, or high-end hospitality environment.
• Strong proficiency in Italian, Lebanese, Continental, and Intercontinental dishes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be male, aged between 30–35 years.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Ajah, Lagos.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 per month.
