Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will drive the company’s revenue growth by identifying new markets, building strategic partnerships, expanding client portfolios, and developing innovative sales strategies.
This role requires a highly experienced professional with a strong track record in real estate business development, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to convert opportunities into measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Growth:
Develop, implement, and manage growth strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
Identify emerging market trends and new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and investment real estate.
Drive expansion into new territories, product lines, or services that increase brand visibility and profitability.
Prepare business expansion proposals, feasibility studies, and growth projections.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Generate high-quality leads, nurture prospects, and convert them to long-term clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, investors, corporate clients, agents, and partners.
Conduct regular follow-ups, presentations, and meetings with potential clients to close high-value deals.
Ensure exceptional customer experience that drives referrals and repeat business.
Partnership & Stakeholder Development:
Establish and manage partnerships with brokers, developers, consultants, institutions, and relevant industry stakeholders.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, real estate fairs, and networking functions.
Negotiate partnership agreements and maintain beneficial collaborations.
Sales Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and supervise the business development team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Create detailed sales pipelines, monitor activity levels, and drive accountability within the team.
Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to management.
Recommend pricing strategies, product positioning, and new market penetration plans.
Stay updated on government policies, regulatory changes, and real estate investment trends.
Proposal Development & Deal Structuring:
Prepare compelling proposals, pitch decks, sales presentations, and investment briefs.
Structure deals, negotiate terms, and secure approvals that maximize company revenue.
Oversee documentation, contracting, and due diligence processes.
Marketing & Brand Support:
Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that drive sales and brand awareness.
Provide insights for content creation, promotional materials, and digital marketing strategies.
Ensure alignment between business development activities and marketing objectives.
Operational & Administrative Duties:
Maintain CRM systems, update client records, and track sales activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical real estate practices.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate Management, or related fields.
MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., NIESV, ICMA) is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 5–7 years in business development, with at least 3 years in real estate.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding high sales and revenue targets.
Experience leading teams and driving large-scale business growth.
