Job Title: Dealership Sales Lead

About the Role
The Dealership Sales Lead (DSL) is responsible for acquiring, managing, and supporting SunFi’s network of dealers, collective members, DEPs, physical outlets, distributor-installers, field sales agents, rider and end customers.
This includes overseeing the performance of roaming sales agents managed by dealers, ensuring high-quality solar installations, and driving sales through strategic partnerships and marketing initiatives.
The DSL serves as the main liaison between SunFi’s headquarters and its field operations, providing operational support, sales guidance, and marketing budgets to ensure the success of SunFi’s dealers and their roaming agents.
This role requires a proactive, customer-focused professional who is skilled in managing partnerships, field teams, and marketing campaigns, and who is committed to expanding SunFi’s footprint in the renewable energy market.
Job Responsibilities
Dealer Acquisition and Management:
Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealers/DEPs & Collective members /Riders/Sales Agents and distributor-installers to expand SunFi’s market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, DEPs & Collective Members /Riders/Sales Agents ensuring their alignment with SunFi’s goals and standards.
Partner with dealers and physical outlet sales representatives to develop and implement strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
Provide ongoing training and support to dealers, DEPs & Collective Members /Riders/Sales Agents to enhance their sales and technical skills.
Monitor physical outlets performance and provide feedback to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Roaming Sales Agent Management:
Collaborate with dealers to recruit and manage a team of roaming sales agents.
Set clear performance targets for agents, including customer acquisition and distributor-installer partnerships.
Ensure agents receive adequate training on SunFi’s products, financing options, and customer engagement techniques.
Track and report on agent performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve productivity.
Oversee the payment of contract staff base salaries/ commissions and ensure accountability for their activities.
Manage rider and ensure tricycle is properly utilised for sales activities and in good condition always
Quality Assurance and Installation Management:
Work with dealers, DEPs, collective members, distributor-installers to ensure all solar installations meet SunFi’s quality standards and customer expectations.
Conduct regular field assessments to evaluate the quality of installations and address any issues.
Provide feedback and recommendations to installers to improve their service delivery.
Marketing and Dealer Support:
Partner with SunFi’s marketing team to design and execute local marketing campaigns, including:
Keke Marwa Ads Campaigns
Skate Marketing and Flyer Distribution
Other field-based promotional activities to increase brand visibility.
Manage marketing budgets provided by SunFi headquarters to support dealer-led sales initiatives.
Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize them for better results.
Sales and Business Development:
Develop and execute strategies to drive sales of solar systems through dealers and their roaming agents.
Collaborate with dealers to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including large-scale partnerships and community projects.
Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure alignment between SunFi’s overall sales objectives and dealer-level activities
Reporting and Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact between SunFi’s headquarters and field operations, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
Prepare and submit regular reports on dealer performance, sales results, and field activities.
Provide feedback to SunFi’s leadership team on market trends, customer needs, and operational challenges.
Key Deliverables and Objectives
Dealer Growth:
Acquire a minimum of 10 dealers, DEP/Collective members, sales agents or distributor-installers per quarter.
Ensure each dealer, DEP/Collective members, sales agents or distributor-installers meets or exceeds their monthly sales targets.
Manage sales agents and rider activity and ensure Productivity
Maintain a team of roaming agents through dealers, with each agent responsible for acquiring at least 15 new customers monthly.
Marketing Impact:
Launch and manage at least one marketing campaign (e.g., Keke Marwa ads, flyer distribution) per dealer per month.
Achieve measurable increases in brand awareness and customer inquiries from campaigns.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that 100% of solar installations meet SunFi’s quality standards and customer satisfaction metrics.
Financial Oversight:
Effectively manage marketing budgets and ensure proper allocation to support dealer activities.
Reporting:
Submit comprehensive performance and financial reports to SunFi headquarters monthly.
Sales Volume KPI:
Achieve a minimum monthly sales volume of ₦50,000,000 across managed dealers, roaming agents, and distributors-installers
Customer Satisfaction KPI:
Achieve and maintain a minimum customer satisfaction rating of 90% (based on post-installation feedback, complaint resolution, and service quality scores).
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or dealership management, preferably in the solar energy or financial services sector.
Proven experience in building and managing dealer networks, sales teams, and installer partnerships.
Strong understanding of solar energy products, financing models, and the Nigerian energy market.
Previous experience working with OEMs, distributors, and sales agents in the renewable energy industry is a plus.
Strong knowledge of solar energy solutions, financing options, and market dynamics in Nigeria.
Proven ability to manage and grow sales teams and dealer networks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A proven track record of experience with full 360 sales cycles
Proven ability to manage end-to-end projects and collaborate with diverse teams.
Have a hunter mentality, enjoy networking and a self-starter.
Ability to speak and write English language fluently
Have strong oral and written communication skills with internal stakeholders and clients.

Familiarity with solar financing, energy-as-a-service models, and subsidy programs.
Experience working with OEM suppliers like Itel, Arnergy, and other solar equipment manufacturers.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: NGN 250,000 - NGN 300,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications).
