Job Title: Head, Financial Planning & Analysis

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

About the Role

• The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial insights, and long-term planning.
• This role supports strategic decision-making by providing data-driven recommendations that drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, long-term planning, and financial strategy.
• Manage forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
• Partner with business units to provide financial insights and decision support.
• Drive cost optimization, profitability analysis, and resource efficiency.
• Prepare executive dashboards, reports, and performance visuals.
• Improve systems, automation, and financial processes.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics; MBA or MSc is an added advantage.
• ICAN/ACCA/ACA required.
• 8 – 10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or related roles.
• Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and BI tools.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Experience in telecoms/tech/ICT is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and ERP (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics) proficiency.
