The Emerge Club (TEC) is the undergraduate club of the Double Edged Impact Network, a registered independent, non-governmental, non-profit and (inter)national organisation that has as its purpose to establish a platform for the discovery, development, deployment and promotion of members.
The Emerge Club was formerly known as Double Edged Network and was founded in 2019 at the Univresity of Nigeria, by Ifegwu-Mbonu Victor, while still an undergraduate at the institution.

Description
Local Leadership, Community Building & Program Execution:
Pod Team Leads are the face of The Emerge Club at the grassroots level.
They manage local Pods, facilitate activities, grow membership, and ensure the execution of national programs within their assigned community (physical campus or virtual Pod).
Key Duties
Oversee the daily operations of their Pod
Lead local recruitment and onboarding efforts
Run national programs at the Pod level (Book Reviews, Roundtables, Personal Growth Reviews, TEC Talks, etc.)
Build strong member relationships and sustain engagement
Track Pod performance and submit regular reports
Collaborate with Membership and Programs teams
Represent TEC on their campus or assigned virtual community

Must Currently Be A Student: You need to be an undergraduate student in any recognised tertiary institution in Africa. Your role as an intern involves understanding the unique challenges and opportunities students face, so being actively enrolled in school is key.
Passion For Leadership and Growth: You don’t need a long history of leadership roles, but you do need the drive to lead and the desire to grow. We’re looking for students who are eager to develop their leadership capacity and help others do the same through their actions.
Must Be Available: We understand that life as a student can be busy, but this role will require you to dedicate 4-8 hours weekly to your responsibilities. So, effective self-management is crucial, and availability is non-negotiable.
