We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Core Responsibilities

• You are expected to help the business make critical decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances.
• You are responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements and ensuring that financial records are accurate throughout the year.

Job Description / Daily Deliverables 

• Raising and posting of invoices.
• Producing of daily sales report.
• Recording & Categorizing expenses and preparing the OPEX report.
• Monitoring of the company’s inventory, which includes counting of stock to see if physical stock corresponds with book value. (Maryland & Ikoyi warehouses)
• Participating in a weekly Monday meeting.
• Updating and producing a weekly debtors list (Accounts Receivable)
• Updating and producing a weekly creditors list (Accounts Payable)
• Receiving and vetting payment requisitions before presenting them to the management for payments.
• Weekly reconciliation of bank statements with the general ledger
• Spare heading the company’s debt recovery.
• Offering advice to organization on how to reduce costs, improve their revenue & boost profit
• Finding & addressing any discrepancy in accounting.
• Keeping account books andthe  system up to date.
• Vet & Work on Payroll prepared by the HR & present to management for payments
• Prepare Tax and other related Payables.
• Every other JD as assigned by the Management.

Salary
 N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
