We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: Apo Resettlement, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Description
Customer Service & Sales Support:

• Welcome customers warmly and help in locating products or answering product-related questions.
• Provide customers with product information including usage, benefits, price, alternatives, and available promotions.
• Assist customers in comparing products and making informed purchase decisions.
• Gather customer feedback and suggestions and relay them to the manager or inventory officer.

Product Display & Shelf Management:

• Arrange products neatly and logically on shelves based on category, size, expiry, or instruction from the inventory team or manager.
• Ensure that shelves are fully stocked, clean, dust-free, and visually appealing always.
• Check for and remove expired, damaged, or wrongly shelved items.
• Replace price tags when there is a price update and ensure all products have the correct pricing displayed.

Stock Monitoring & Coordination:

• Monitor product availability on shelves and notify inventory officers when stock is running low.
• Assist in stock rotation by ensuring First Expiry First Out (FEFO) or First in First Out (FIFO) practices are followed.
• Participate in stock counts or physical inventory checks when required.
• Alert inventory or procurement team when high-demand items are out of stock or slow-moving items are taking shelf space unnecessarily.

Cleanliness & Hygiene:

• Keep aisles, shelves, and assigned areas clean and free of clutter or debris.
• Ensure all products on display are dusted regularly and arranged in a tidy, attractive manner.
• Report any broken shelves, faulty lighting, or environmental concerns to the supervisor or maintenance team.

Cross-Functional Support:

• Support cashiers, inventory, or other departments during busy hours or as assigned.
• Assist in receiving deliveries, unpacking goods, and arranging them in the appropriate section.
• Educate customers on store policies such as returns, warranties, and special promotions.
• Serve as a backup in other departments (e.g., cosmetics, provisions, pharmacy) as directed by your manager.

Reporting & Communication:

• Report missing, expired, counterfeit, or slow-moving products to the inventory department.
• Inform management or inventory officers of customer product requests or out-of-stock items.
• Promptly escalate customer complaints or unresolved issues to a supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an OND / NCE / HND / Bachelor`s Degree.
