Job Title: Driver

Location: Owerri, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Driver is responsible for safely transporting staff, and goods to designated locations while maintaining the assigned vehicle in excellent working condition.
• The role requires punctuality, strong attention to detail, and adherence to all traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
Driving & Transportation:

• Safely drive staff and authorized persons to required destinations.
• Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off at scheduled times.
• Transport goods, documents, and materials to various locations as directed.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct daily inspection of the vehicle (oil, water, tyres, lights, brakes).
• Ensure regular servicing and maintenance of the vehicle.
• Keep the vehicle clean (interior and exterior) at all times.
• Report any mechanical faults, repairs needed, or incidents immediately.

Compliance & Safety:

• Strictly adhere to all traffic rules and road safety regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers and goods during transit.
• Maintain an updated driver’s license and all required vehicle documents.
• Keep a logbook of trips, mileage, and fuel usage.

Administrative Duties:

• Assist with running office errands when required.
• Support the Admin/Operations team with dispatch tasks.
• Handle deliveries and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE certificate.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 1–3 years proven driving experience.
• Familiarity with local routes and alternative roads.
• Ability to read and follow Google Maps or GPS navigation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit, trustworthy, and responsible.
• Good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance.

Salary
N600,000 annually.
