Job Title: Compounding Weighing Lead

Location: Mushin, Lagos

Job Description

• The Compounding Weighing Lead will be responsible for the weighing team. Ensuring accurate and timely weighing of raw material required as per the production plan.
• He will also be responsible for the calibration & maintenance of all weighing equipment

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the safety culture of his respective area.
• Provide direction and guidance to the weighing team on accurate weighing of all raw material as per production plan and weighing sheets.
• Check and ensure healthy stock level of all raw material, promptly reporting inadequate stock holding of any of the materials to ensure availability of raw material at his section in coordination with the production plan.
• Manage material receipt from warehouse ensuring all related documents and SAP transactions are done in a timely manner as per procedure.
• Manage staging of all weighed material, ensuring accurate handshake of materials to the mixing team as per procedure.
• Maintain all weighing documents ensuring continuous review to match with actual process.
• Responsible for 5s & good hygiene condition of the weighing & staging area ensuring all materials are properly tagged.
• Drive accurate raw material stock count and zero material wastage.
• Adhere strictly to the right process order and maintained proper documentation all time.
• Ensure chemical usage safety with reference to MSDS.

Requirements

• Minimum of BSC/HND/ND in Physical sciences or Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, /Production) is preferred.
• 2-3 Years of relevant work experience in FMCG /cosmetics Industries.
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage (tools requisition).
• Knowledge in dealing with TPM tools.
• Ability to take on technical projects.
• Good knowledge of standard software such as MS Office and SAP.

Salary
N165,000 net monthly.
